Re-watch this morning's Nintendo Direct right here, right now

Rewatch this morning's Nintendo Direct right here, right now

Nothing says, "Nintendo news" quite like watching Nintendo president Satoru Iwata gesticulate in a featureless white room for nearly an hour. This morning's Nintendo Direct presentation didn't disappoint in that respect, with Iwata moving his hands this way and that, all the while detailing upcoming system updates to the Wii U, new features and mobile access for the Miiverse social network, and Virtual Console finally heading to Nintendo's latest console. That's to say nothing of a new yarn-based game starring Yoshi and the HD remake of Wind Waker. But you're not here for that, are you? You just wanna watch Iwata make silly arm movements? Done and done -- head past the break for your fix.

Delhi gang-rape case to start in fast-track court

NEW DELHI (AP) ? Legal proceedings in a gang-rape case that has sparked protests about the treatment of woman are beginning in a new fast-track court set up specifically to deal with crimes against women in New Delhi.

Five men are due to appear in the special court Monday afternoon to face charges they raped and murdered a 23-year-old student aboard a moving bus in the capital last month.

A sixth suspect in the attack claims to be a juvenile and his case is being handled separately.

The attack has brought the little discussed topic of crime against women to the forefront in India. However some activists have raised concerns that the fast-track court system was not the answer to protect women.

Boeing Battery Investigation Complications - Business Insider

While?Boeing?hurries to find what caused lithium ion batteries in its Dreamliner jets to catch fire, and get back in the air after being grounded last week,?a new report from? The National Transportation Safety Board may complicate things.

The Wall Street Journal reports that the organization took the unusual step of releasing a report early Sunday morning that finds two separate battery fires were caused by different issues.

Investigators looking into a battery malfunction on a Nippon Airlines flight on January 15th found that the battery may have been overcharged, causing the fire that forced an emergency landing. This report reveals that the battery causing a fire that took place a week earlier on a grounded Japan Airlines plane "did not exceed its designed voltage."

Boeing likely hoped that they could zero in on one issue and get the planes back into the air quickly.

This could mean two different investigations looking into two different problems with the batteries.

Early on, executives like Qatar Airways chief Akbar Al-Baker, the largest customer for the plane, downplayed the issues, calling them "teething problems" common to new planes. Now he's grounded his fleet, and the longer the planes are grounded, the worse things could get for Boeing.

If airlines start demanding compensation or cutting back on orders, this could get extremely expensive.?
